We want to thank the kind partners and volunteers in our community, who are making a difference in our network of organizations, we’re highlighting a few recent acts of kindness.

Collège Béliveau

Students from Collège Béliveau

Collège Beliveau men’s and women’s hockey teams handed out donuts and hot chocolate to students over a lunch hour in December to raise funds and awareness for Centre Flavie Laurent. In one hour, they raised over $300 and collected several boxes of clothing and food for Centre Flavie. Thank you for your kindness!

6P Marketing

A few staff from 6P Marketing

For the second year in a row, the kind elves (staff) at 6P Marketing collected gifts and goods to fill 300 shoeboxes for the people supported byCentre Flavie Laurent. The boxes contained important items, like mitts and tuques, as well as fun gifts for children and adults, each box wrapped in a special way. Thank you for your kindness!

St. Boniface Stars and Despins Residence

Thank you message from St. Boniface Stars Hockey team to Despins Charities

Despins Residence generously opened their doors to St. Boniface Stars Peewee Hockey Team. The team of 15 girls were able to make sandwiches and gifts for 150 people experiencing homelessness in Winnipeg. Thank you for your kindness!

United Firefighters of Winnipeg

Each year, the United Firefighters of Winnipeg bring gifts for the people supported by St.Amant. They choose a different area to honour every year and this year, chose the children’s homes and foster programs. Not only did they bring a toy for each child, they also brought treats for the staff.
